Senior RF/Microwave Test Engineer
Auriga Microwave, located in Chelmsford, MA, is a recognized international leader in modeling, measurement and design of RF, microwave and millimeter-wave technologies. Auriga's customers benefit from the team’s years of experience delivering cost-effective, leading-edge modules to demanding microwave solution providers.
Auriga is currently seeking a strong Senior RF/Microwave Test Engineer with significant experience in power amplifier and low noise amplifier testing. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this position requires cross-functional teamwork with all engineering groups and will be instrumental in helping Auriga achieve the aggressive growth goals anticipated for the next several years.
Absolute requirements (please do not apply if you do not meet all of the below):
- 10+ years specialization in RF/microwave circuit measurement and device characterization
- Significant experience measuring S-parameters, single and two-tone power, noise, and load-pull
- Comfortable testing and debugging analog/mixed-signal high-voltage boards
- Strong communications and writing skills
- US citizen (must be able to achieve Secret clearance)
Ideal Experience:
- Working knowledge of pulsed IV and pulsed RF testing
- Significant exposure to measurement equipment in complimentary industries, i.e., Agilent, Rohde & Schwarz, Anritsu, Keithley, Tektronix, and Cascade
- Comfortable giving technical demonstrations
- Deep understanding of microwave semiconductors (i.e., GaN, GaAs)
- Familiarity with HT/V BASIC or another programming language
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as measurement lead on commercial and military programs
- Support Auriga’s pulsed product lines
- Generate and review fixture drawings
- Design and setup test benches
- Coordinate characterization and testing procedures and scope
- Engage with customers to ensure complete satisfaction

The ideal candidate will have an M.S. or Ph.D. in electrical engineering.
