Bruce Cohen - President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Cohen brings to Auriga more than 35 years of industry experience and a proven track record of leading companies to rapid revenue growth and profitability. Prior to joining Auriga, Bruce consulted with various companies to help develop effective go-to-market strategies. Earlier, he served as president and CEO of Top Layer Networks where he led the company to three consecutive years of strong earnings growth, from $400K to over $14M, and increased international revenue to 50%. Prior to Top Layer Networks, Bruce served as president and CEO of Novasoft Systems where he established the company's channel model which grew revenue by 400% year over year. Bruce was senior vice president of worldwide field operations at Chipcom Corporation for 10 years which was acquired by 3Com. At Chipcom, he played a key role in successfully launching three product lines, achieved 28 consecutive record quarters of growth and pioneered a unique channel strategy. Bruce spent the first 15 years of his career in various sales and product management roles at IBM and Datapoint. Bruce has a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University in 1967 and 1966 respectively.
Yusuke Tajima, PhD - Chief Technical Officer
In 2007, Dr. Tajima was promoted to CTO. Yusuke joined Auriga as a founder and the Director of Modeling and Design in 2004. Since 2007, his team has successful delivered leading-edge innovative amplifier solutions that meet or surpass our customers’ performance expectations. Yusuke's work on the pulsed IV measurement system, new circuit designs, based on GaN and GaAs, and device models has been published in many papers. Prior to Auriga; Yusuke was General Manager of ACCO USA, responsible for the USA operation of ACCO in France, and worked for Raytheon IDS in Massachusetts as program lead on programs such as MilStar. He started his research and development work at Toshiba Central Lab in Japan. Yusuke has contributed many innovations in microwave devices and characterization methods. Yusuke received B.S. and PhD degrees from Tokyo University in Electronics Engineering in 1970 and 1980, respectively.
Moosa E. Moosa, CPA - Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Moosa has more than 30 years of extensive and broad business experience as a proactive, business-orientated financial leader and key member of senior leadership teams. Financial and operational experience include more than 10 years in publicly-traded companies. Mr. Moosa has had hands-on involvement in the areas of financial reporting, costing, treasury, taxes, insurance, IT and human resources in five increasingly diverse businesses. Mr. Moosa started his career in South Africa with Peat, Marwick Mitchell & Co. and then in the States with KPMG – his specialization was mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Moosa has degrees from University of Natal /Durban-Westville, Durban, South Africa and University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa, and a Fellowship from Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, USA.
Dave Wandrei - Chief Scientist
Mr. Wandrei joined Auriga in 2004, bringing with him more than 25 years of valuable industry experience and accolades. During those years, Dave received a patent for the Load Pull Tuner, developed the Load Pull Noise Parameter system, and authored several papers on Device Characterization and Modeling. Prior to Auriga, Mr. Wandrei was employed by Raytheon, M/A-Com, Adams Russell, ATN Microwave, and ACCO USA. Dave received his B.S. (1976) and M.S. (2001) degrees in Electrical Circuit Engineering from the University of Massachusetts.
Ted Lewis - Vice President
Mr. Lewis brings more than 25 years experience successfully growing international sales, marketing and customer-centered organizations for high-tech hardware and software companies. Prior to joining Auriga, Ted ran sales for Unitek Benchmark, an equipment manufacturer serving the global electronics packaging industry. At Unitek Benchmark, Ted rebuilt and revitalized its sales channel resulting in doubling the company's market share in just over two years during a economically declining market.
Larry Smith - Director of Custom Test Systems
As Auriga's Director of Custom Test Systems, Mr. Smith brings with him more than 25 years of ATE design experience in the aerospace and defense business sector. Prior to Auriga, Mr. Smith was Project Manager within the Defense, Aerospace and Transportation Systems (DATS) division of Agilent Technologies, Inc. There, he was directly responsible for all aspects of system design, integration and software development within the TR Module and Component Test Systems groups. Mr. Smith also provides Auriga with extensive experience and a proven record in manufacturing test. For more than 14 years he was responsible for all automated test systems and strategies within M/A-Com’s Antenna and Cable division.
Nickolas Kingsley, PhD - Director of Engineering
Dr. Kingsley graduated with a PhD EE from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2007. In August of that year, he joined Auriga Microwave in Chelmsford, MA and is now the Director of Engineering. His interests include wideband, high power front-end circuitry with enhanced linearity and efficiency. Nick has been a member of the Technical Program Review Committee for the International Microwave Symposium (IMS) since 2007 and often serves as sub-committee chairman. He was a member of the 2009 IMS Steering Committee in Boston. Nick is a reviewer for more than a dozen publications and has given talks all over the world.
